This German typecase configuration matches that illustrated in Bauer: Handbuch für Schriftsetzer (4th ed 1917 and a later ed. in 1920). The case is 66 x 52 cms. It has additional boxes to accommodate small capitals and accents, with a total of 156 boxes, and the type lay is Kapitälchen. There is a different case with only 127 boxes, where the fount does not have small capitals.
