Empty Figure Case

This U.S. configuration matches that of Barnhardt Brothers & Spindler: Pony Specimen (1890s), and the model 1120 Handy Case of American Printing Equipment & Supply Co: Catalog (1983 and 1987), who suggest it for handy boxes of type and ornaments. Unlike Upper and Lower Cases, etc., this case is not partitioned into e.g. left and right bays. There is also an A.T.F. version, which has 6 rather than 7 boxes in a row, and is partitioned centrally.
