The typecase configuration matches the Malayan Lower of Stevens (as successor to V & J Figgins), Layout Sheets (nd but c1907) in St Bride. The case is intended for Long Primer and Pica sizes of type. The case for Great Primer is identical apart from having all the boxes in the bottom row the same, ie omitting the one horizontal division.

The companion Upper is a standard Upper case, and also an Outer case (all three cases being required to hold the fount).
