This English configuration matches the Justifying Case No.1 (Model 24) of Caslon: Printing Types and Catalogue of Materials (1925), and totals 42 boxes. There is also a No.2 case, which omits three subdivisions in the top row (ie totals 39 boxes), and a No.3 case which adds more boxes per row, and subdivides the second row up from the bottom (ie totals 63 boxes). All the cases are intended for holding spacing material, No.1: 6-18pt, No.2: 12-48pt, No.3: 6-36pt..
