This U.S. typecase configuration matches that of the model 2775 in Hamilton Manufacturing Co: Printing Plant Equipment, Type Storage Section, Catalog 16 (c.1932) and Kelsey: Printers Supply Book (1969) and American Printing Equipment & Supply Co: Catalog (1983 and 1987). The case has four bays of 7 x 7 boxes, with three of the rows having larger boxes than the others, unlike the earlier ATF (1906) and Hamilton (1922) and ATF (1923) version, where all the rows are the same size. Thompson Cabinet Co: Equipment for Printing Plants Catalog 47 (c1949) shows their model 12775 with all rows still the same, as is the Hamilton case shown by Polk: The Practice of Printing (rev ed 1964). The English equivalent case, eg Stephenson Blake (1922), has always had seven rows of boxes the same size.
