The list below is a quick reference to Museums with collections of letterpress equipment, be these working or static displays, or items in store. For each Museum there is a link to the major items of letterpress, and occasional bookbinding, equipment (but not offset litho, etc. or small items). Based on this information, there is also a separate Equipment list, which is in machine order. The Museum list is still being compiled, and Museum names shown in italics are Museums that have not yet confirmed their entry. Some Museums may have been missed from the list, and some have closed, but their equipment is still listed 'As was' for historic purposes. All the websites have been checked for activity in 2026, but often these change without notice, and some are more tortuous than others (those shown without www. are abbreviations of the full url).
