Holiday accommodation in Western Australia

view of house

Why not relax in a holiday house in Cowaramup, W.A., south of Perth in the heart of the Margaret River wine (and surf) region. Cowaramup is only 10 km from the beach, and 12 km from Margaret River itself. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only 3 minutes from the local shops.

general mapAs well as wine tasting in Cowaramup itself, there are numerous vineyards and olive groves in the vicinity, most of which are open for tastings, and many of them also have restaraunts or cafes. There are miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, ancient forests and walks. The surf is legendary. Cowaramup location
The house has a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, a laundry, one bedroom with en suite shower, wc., etc., and two other bedrooms, and a separate bathroom and wc. It is normally only equipped with two double beds, but an extra single bed can be provided if required. There is a wide verandah, a sheltered alfresco sitting area, and ample parking space.Alfresco area

Rental is UK£325 per week, Saturday to Saturday, which includes up to four people. Any extra people are £15 per person per night. Rental can also be paid in A$ or US$, but please contact us for the rates.

The house is adjacent to a small outpost of the Alembic Press, namely a tin shed with an Adana table-top platen press and a type frame with a small quantity of type. The shed is large enough for occasional book workshops, although obviously when the Press is in residence, the adjacent house is not available for holiday lettings.
