This U.S. typecase lay is shown by Hamilton Manufacturing Company, Modern Cabinets, Furniture and Materials for Printers Catalog 14, c. 1907 and Barnhardt Brothers & Spindler, Book of Type Specimens No.9, 1907. Whilst intended for timetable work, Hamilton stated that it could also be used for other work such as legal notices, market reports, etc. The case size is 7⅜ by 15⅛ inches, and four will fit in a regular full-size blank case. The empty case is Time Table.
