This English typecase configuration is that shown in Ullmer: Revised Illustrated List of New Machinery and Materials (1902). It is actually a double double case, and differs from their Registered Double Case No.1 by having two extra rows in the upper case section, and a different arrangement of the small boxes in the right hand of each lower case section. Overall there are 84 (i.e. 2 x 42) upper case boxes and 94 (i.e. 2 x 47) lower case boxes.
