This English case configuration is that shown in Ullmer, Revised Illustrated Price List of New Machinery and Materials 1902. It is stated to be very valuable in Jobbing Offices, with boxes made to contain hair, thin, middle and thick spaces, em, en and large quads of eight different bodies. Thus very convenient for having the spacing to hand work combining fancy and jobbing types.
