This U.S. typecase configuration is that of Barnhart Bros & Spindler: Pony Specimen (1893) and American Type Founders' Co (Central Type Foundry): Blue Book (1895). Note that there are two rows of 14 (ie 7+7) cap boxes at the top. Note also the four small boxes at the bottom left. Gujarati Type Foundry: Type Book (c1928) shows the Two Third Italic case with the more normal three boxes at bottom left, but this would make the case the same as a Two Third California. The Gujarati lay is Two Third Italic. The full size Italic case is Italic Job
