This typecase configuration corresponds to the Spanish single case shown by Lockwood: American Dictionary of Printing and Bookmaking (1894) as the most common case lay in use in Spain. The case configuration is the same as the Caja Normal but has one more small box than the Caja Reformada, both shown in Enciclopedia Vniversal Illvstrada (1928), and it also differs from the Caja Española of Morato (1933), which has less boxes in the bottom two rows. The type lay is Spanish Single.
